Cookie Notice
Last updated: May 11, 2026 · Effective immediately
This Cookie Notice explains how Individual Entrepreneur Roman Blokhin operating as pingplex ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use the pingplex platform at pingplex.io ("Service"). Please also read our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle personal data.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. There are two main types:
- Session cookies — temporary cookies deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixel tags (transparent 1×1 images embedded in emails or pages) that function in a similar way to cookies. References to "cookies" in this notice include these technologies unless stated otherwise.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They enable core features such as user authentication, session management, security, and payment processing. You cannot opt out of these cookies as the Service cannot function without them.
| Cookie / Key | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
auth_token | pingplex | JWT authentication token stored in HTTP-only cookie or local storage to maintain your logged-in session. | Session / 7 days |
__stripe_sid, __stripe_mid | Stripe, Inc. | Fraud detection and secure payment session management during checkout. | 30 min / 1 year |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare, Inc. | Bot management — distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic. | 30 minutes |
2.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the Service to remember choices you make (such as UI preferences or language settings) and provide enhanced features. Disabling them may affect the user experience.
| Cookie / Key | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | pingplex | Stores your dark/light mode preference. | 1 year |
sidebar_state | pingplex | Remembers whether the navigation sidebar was open or closed. | Session |
2.3 Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service — which pages are visited most, where users come from, and how they navigate. All data is aggregated and anonymised where possible. We do not currently use third-party analytics platforms on the Service. Basic server-side request logs are retained for security and performance monitoring.
2.4 Payment Provider Cookies
When you initiate a payment, our payment processors (Stripe, YooKassa, Cryptomus) may set their own cookies on your device to prevent fraud and process the transaction. These cookies are governed by each provider's respective privacy and cookie policies:
- Stripe: stripe.com/privacy
- YooKassa: YooKassa Privacy Policy
- Cryptomus: cryptomus.com/privacy
3. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in or using payment features.
- Browser-specific guides: Visit allaboutcookies.org for instructions on managing cookies in your browser.
- Pixel tags in emails: You can block them by configuring your email client to display plain text only or block external images.
Please note that if you disable or delete cookies, parts of the Service may not function correctly and you may be required to log in again on each visit.
4. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. We currently do not alter our data collection practices in response to DNT signals. For more information, visit allaboutdnt.com.
5. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, the Service uses the browser's local storage to persist certain user preferences and authentication state on the client side (for example, the auth token in single-page-app mode). Local storage data is not transmitted automatically with every HTTP request, unlike cookies, but is accessible to our application scripts. You can clear local storage via your browser's developer tools or storage settings.
6. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
7. Contact
